A Lesson in Bay Area Slang

So if you live anywhere but the perma-tundra that is the Bay Area, you’re probably experiencing some seasonably warm weather. And lucky you - GILT is having a sale on Marc Jacobs swimwear. I just signed up for Mint.com, and I’m totally depressed (more on that later, though) so I won’t be purchasing anything, but if I was a rich girl, that strapless MJ tunic would be mine so hard.

What Inspires You?

So Ferna and I are engaged in an ongoing quest to make our bed the most comfortable bed in all the land. It started out with our investment in memory foam a loooooong time ago, and we recently purchased four new pillows (for side-sleepers and everything!), which I am supposed to decorate with super kickass pillowcases, created by yours truly with my newly-acquired sewing skills.

I’ve already sewn two (the fabric I bought was the very last on the ream, and only was enough for two yards, so boom. roasted), but now that I’ve seen these pillows on Rebel 8’s blog, I’m inspired so hard. His and hers. How retro.
