They told me I couldn’t wear jeans to work, so I stopped wearing pants altogether.

The last topic of today’s staff meeting was work attire and reinstating jeans as work appropriate. YAYAYAYAYAYAY.

But I guess the point is kinda moot since I just bought a pair of Dickies because I was afraid of the creeping winter chill. Still though … jeans, man, jeans.

Almost like clockwork, I sit here feeling choked up and on the verge of tears, for what reason, I have no clue, and yet here I am, alone in my thoughts, sad on this cold fall day.

This kid was given the choice of ice cream cake and flan, ate a single cookie, and drank three glasses of water. I just want to steal him.

I am soooo ready to go home it’s not even funny. I almost never get homesick, but my mom emailed me the stupidest joke this morning (it had to do with dead monkeys) and I almost cried on BART. Yup, it’s time for Miss Shannon Elaine to get her ass to the 19.04. I’m looking forward to sunshine, bar fight partners, deviled eggs, the beach, warmth in general, carne asada fries, little (big) brothers, Wings ‘N’ Things, and Chargers games. Wednesday cannot come fast enough.
