Come December, Little Miss $hannon Elaine turns into walking down comforter because nothing makes me more cranky than the cold. While I’ve semi-adjusted to the brisk-as-fuck Bay Area, the chill seems to seep into my bones, and you can find me three minutes after coming home from work stripping down to my chonies only to jump into the my nearest pair of sweats (boys XL please!) a hoodie, and my Ugg moccasins (yeah, I said the U word). This isn’t exactly a kosher practice in my household as we have a baby blue carpet which we try to keep clean, so there is a no-shoe-in-the-house policy, but I’m the princess of the posse and no one ever says shit to me.

ANYway, while cruising K-loop today I came across these sole-less bad boys, and they’re already wish listed for my next order, which will include this as well, because I need more work clothes. Fuck a dress code.

Fuck – I’m still going snowboarding.

The mass email went out today reminding me that I had, in fact, committed to putting my life on the line. Blah. Maybe if I had this scarf I’d feel better about the whole situation.

Do Want Du Jour [<3<3<3]

This morning as I lay in bed refusing to acknowledge it was  time to get my lazy ass up (I was crazy late for work today – standard time ain’t got nothing on me!) I realized it’s time for a room makeover. And what better place to start than with the bed? I sew new pillowcases like every other month, but I love this accent pillow by Etsy seller cozyblue so much it just might be my muse for our winter motif.

Now if only I could embroider. It’d save me a little ca$hola and the pain of waiting for it to arrive. That being said, both Fernando and Shannon are really long names when it comes to needlepoint, so I’ll save myself the dirty work and cough of the cash, because this is tres cute!
