“She … grew … up … too … fast …”
While totally geeking out about Graymaker, the Grayskul/ Maker collab, I remembered these sweet beats and decided to share it with you. Don’t forget to cop your copy of the new Graymaker album here.

Busta Rhymes – “Gimme Some More”
Fun Fact: Gimme some more was my cheer squad’s chant to get pumped up before we performed.
I told you we were hood.

That’s teeny tiny $hannon Elaine.

Not a whole lot has changed.
I remember this picture day vividly, because Lifetouch sent around the order forms early, and I was toooo stoked for the new backgrounds. My mother let me (as always) choose my own outfit, and I vetted my choices carefully.
Obvi, I wanted the pink and purple background. I then chose the sweater to match, and then the green undershirt to compliment the green spots. Insert acid wash jeans and a ponytail (oh and emerald jewelry – mah birthstone – to tie the whole thing together) and voila.
Done son. Greatest. Outfit. Ever.
I loved this combo so much, it’s pretty much been my uniform in life.
I’m not feeling this weather right now, so I fell back to the tried and true. I’ve done the sweater/jeans/t-shirt combo 3 days in a row. And I say fuck it.
Let’s go for a week.
Fuck this gloom. I want an Indian Summer up in this bitch.
Update: Mission Totally Accomplished.

I’m reading a book about the Mixtape, and it’s true. Music has the power to take you to an exact moment, feeling, space, and time. Some songs remind you of when you were suuuuper emo in middle school struggling through puberty and hating life, some remind you of love lost … and then some songs remind you of The Mennonite Mansion, sweat and blacklights, and the occasional [people] punching girls in their backs.
Ahhh…memories.
2 2 Twank!!!!
