Whoever said sake doesn't give you hangovers was a cold-blooded liar.

So there was this quinceñera that we’ve been planning for years now that happened this weekend. The picture above is one of my favorites, but there is plenty more where this came from, so sit tight mis amigos.

Best Weekend Ever [End of Summer Edition]

We on the griiiiiind.

Oh heeeey!

This is the obligatory “I know I’ve been rotten about updating post,” and I have, but for a reason, shiiiiiit.

Well … now that I think about it, the only reason is I’ve been working and playing comparably hard, and something has gotta fall off, right?

In this past week I’ve:

1. Changed my entire face
2. Been quoted in a newspaper (like in a super huge pull quote with graphics and everything) but the quote was shit so I won’t link to it here. But it was my first time being called a spokeswoman, so boom, roasted
3. Reunited with my beautiful Rubina, who made me fall in love with her all over again when we discovered her love of cheese & crackers (now that’s my kind of pup!)
4. Celebrated a friend’s inevitable aging, and met like 45 more UCSD alum that now reside in the Bay Area
5. Went. retail. crazy.
6. And what can only be summed up as partying & bullshitting.

I’m back now…I think this week will be relatively quiet, so get ready for those RSS feeds to be inundated.

It’s Monday and My Liver Hurts.

But it was worth it.

A dead camera battery and an overall lack of motivation make it almost certain I won’t revisist this weekend, but it was filled with mini golf, cement slides and Pink Truck.

Birthday Weekend [Cancer Ed.]

So I was able to successfully attend 2/3 birthday celebrations this weekend. Morgan Hill was a big, fat no-go do to alternator issues (without getting into the nitty gritty, let’s just say AAA was called, sleeping in the car at 4am ensued…) but we were able to enjoy these two kiddoes birthdays, so all’s well that ends well.
